Expo 2017 Masterplan | Astana, Kazakhstan

Our project was one of the 10 finalists in the international competition for Expo 2017, in Astana. Conceptually built around a Green Axis, that effectively connects the site to the city center, it uses Astana’s distinctive silhouette as a focal point. The project embraces the idea that life should be built on the conservation of energy, therefore buildings and city planning were conceived based on world-class sustainable technologies.
