ABIMIS ALTEREGO Sideboard in stainless steel and marble with hinged doors

The new AlterEgo with cipollino marble doors combines the tailoring of stainless steel with the preciousness of natural stone, expressing a new balance between design research, material, function, and furnishing vocation.‎ Designed by Alberto Torsello, AlterEgo was created as an extension of the Ego kitchen, incorporating its aesthetic codes inspired by 1950s design and translating them into an additional storage system that expands the compositional possibilities of both domestic and contract spaces.‎ The AlterEgo doors, now also available in cipollino marble or other natural stones, enhance the offering alongside versions in various wood finishes.‎ All configurations are paired with an all-steel structure, available with a hand-orbited or mirror-polished finish, for an elegant and customizable result.‎ AlterEgo embodies the perfect synergy between the technical and professional soul of Abimis and the refined aesthetics of design furniture, fitting naturally into both open-plan kitchens and living spaces.‎ The sideboard's distinctive feature is the rounded, flush-fitting doors with hinges, framed by an AISI 304 stainless steel structure with a recessed plinth that recalls the formal language of the Ego line and reinforces its stylistic continuity.‎ The circular steel handles are a distinctive feature of the project: functional elements that transform into decorative details.‎ The new cipollino marble doors further enhance the sideboard's design, transforming it into a unique piece.‎ The marble's natural veining creates a three-dimensional effect that captures the space and makes every AlterEgo unique, lending it a sculptural character.‎ The result is a contemporary 'object' with a strong visual impact.‎ AlterEgo confirms Abimis's manufacturing approach, based on a balance between artisanal craftsmanship and industrial precision, and presents itself as a furnishing element that combines functionality, aesthetics, and construction quality.‎ Designed to complement the Ego kitchen, it also stands out on its own thanks to its strong personality and material presence.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ALTEREGO ABIMIS
