AFON CASA NOVOMUR® - Дегидратирующая штукатурка

AFON CASA, back in 1979, patented NOVOMUR®, the first thermo-depressurising plaster, capable of dehumidifying walls subject to any type of humidity: rising damp, damp against the ground, and condensation damp.‎ NOVOMUR®, acting as a humidity flywheel, revolutionises dehumidification systems: it rehabilitates basements dripping with water, walls against the ground with pressurised water, and rooms with air saturated with humidity.‎ It renders basements unusable due to high ambient humidity habitable, and eliminates all types of salt, including that which impregnates stables.‎ NOVOMUR® has an open-cell honeycomb structure, the cavities of which are surrounded by a thermal insulating skeleton that keeps them apart, protecting the inner surfaces.‎ The alveoli communicate with each other through a dense network of micropores that ensure, by suction, the transport of moisture to the larger alveoli, from which it evaporates.‎ A depressurising effect therefore occurs, due to the fact that a very high quantity of air is created in the thickness of the plaster in contact with the outside air, such that micropores are formed, which inhale vapour, allowing dryness to be achieved even in the presence of a continuous humidification process.‎ This occurs in the case of walls against the ground or with foundations immersed in water and in the case of diffuse water infiltration.‎ When NOVOMUR® depressurising plaster is applied over one side of a damp wall, the moisture embedded in the entire thickness moves in a continuous flow towards the warm sides, where it is inhaled and exhaled in the form of vapour by the depressurising thermal mass until it is completely exhausted.‎ The continuous dehumidification process is thus stabilised at the base of the wall, preventing both moisture and salts from rising, so that the masonry is no longer wetted by dispersed water, let alone flaked by salts.‎
