Agapecasa CAP53 Bronze centerpiece

A few years from the project of the SK207 table, persuaded by the mechanical characteristics and the elevated corrosion resistance of the material, Angelo Mangiarotti returns to working with bronze.‎ With the CAP53 vases, the ancient technique of "lost-wax" casting draws closer to its original field, the production of sculptures.‎ Casting and polishing celebrate the color, the brilliance and the texture of the material in an articulated vocabulary of simple yet sensual forms, derived from intuition and experimentation.‎ The design of the vases is built on the principle that, in section, two circles of different diameter, moving along the vertical axes, can originate a great number of different objects.‎ CAP53 is available in three versions, each of them available in a limited edition of 100 numbered copies.‎ Further info from manufacturer on CAP53 Agapecasa
