CRIOSFERA HORIZONTAL - Стеклянная настольная лампа

CRIOSFERA HORIZONTAL is a table lamp made of layered blown and recycled glass with an optical core that exploits the refractive nature of the icy surface.‎ The cryosphere includes all the frozen components of the Earth’s system.‎ 90% of this ice is found in Antarctica.‎ This same ice layer is the largest data archive.‎ It is a time capsule that allows scientists to trace the climate history of our planet by extracting variations in CO2, greenhouse gases, and temperatures from trapped air bubbles from past glacial and interglacial periods.‎ The quintessential marker of climate change is therefore a stratified ice core extracted from the depths of our planet’s ice caps.‎ This ice core thus becomes the element that creates awareness and invites action.‎ CRIOSFERA is therefore a synthesis of optical, material, and scientific knowledge that translates into a manifesto of values between the present and the future.‎ Its limits and uniqueness are linked to artisanal craftsmanship.‎ The engravings are impressed in the hot glass before blowing, making its thickness wavy and irregular.‎ IP 20  20 W Criosfera is a lamp inspired by the structure of polar ice and ice cores extracted to study climate change.‎ It is composed of a blown and recycled glass cylinder, with an optical core that exploits refraction to maximise light diffusion.‎ The glass is handcrafted: engravings are made by heat before blowing, creating a wavy, irregular thickness.‎ The optoelectronic motor is integrated into the body of the lamp so as not to generate visible shadows.‎ The lamp is available in three different structures, inspired by the scientific instruments used to analyse ice, made by laser cutting to optimise the use of materials.‎
