Artemide ECLISSE X SQUID GAME PLAYER Painted metal table lamp

The Eclisse x Squid Game – Player Table Lamp by Artemide, masterfully designed by Vico Magistretti, presents an extraordinary blend of classic Italian craftsmanship and modern pop-cultural symbolism.‎ This special edition iteration of the timeless Eclisse, originally introduced in 1965, reinvents the iconic table lamp with an infusion of storytelling inspired by "Squid Game.‎" Embodying both form and function, the lamp incorporates a unique light modulation system.‎ By rotating its inner shade, users can manipulate light distribution for a perfectly tailored ambience, from direct illumination to a gently diffused glow.‎ Winning the Compasso d’Oro in 1967 was a testament to its design excellence, and this special collaboration adds a layer of cultural connectivity.‎ The series includes three distinctive versions: the Player, the Pink Guard, and the Black Officer, each resonating with a unique color scheme and design that echoes the dramatic aesthetics of the renowned series.‎ The Pink Guard and Black Officer variants are adorned with a magnetic mask, a subtle yet sophisticated homage to the show’s intrigue, while retaining the lamp’s iconic silhouette.‎ Players are ordinary people representing the lowest class of society.‎ They are treated as “pawns”, without identity or human value.‎ The Eclisse x Squid Game extends beyond mere lighting—it's a collector's item that narrates a deeper story, symbolizing the struggle and societal commentary embedded within "Squid Game.‎" The player version reflects the anonymity of the contestants, highlighting their identity defined by numbers rather than names, representing societal underdogs in a high-stakes gamble for survival.‎ Functionally, this lamp boasts a LED E14 light source (bulb not included), operating at 220V and 5W, with an IP20 rating, making it suitable for a variety of indoor spaces.‎ Whether placed in a contemporary living room or a dynamic office environment, this lamp serves as a bold statement piece, celebrating the rich dialogue between light, design, and cultural crystallization.‎ Light Source: LED E14 - bulb not included - IP20 - 220V - 5W Further info from manufacturer on ECLISSE X SQUID GAME PLAYER Artemide
