Azzurra Ceramica IRIDE Ceramic washbasin with wooden cabinet

Inspired by traditional hand-washing basins of the past—designed to collect excess water during use—the “Iride” collection by Alessio Casciano is reinterpreted with a sculptural, contemporary twist.‎ The thick ceramic surface features an elliptical basin surrounded by a flared, more circular rim, evoking the shape of an eye.‎ The wide range of available color variations inspired the name “Iride” (Italian for “Iris”), highlighting the collection’s versatility.‎ The ceramic basin comes in two versions, with or without a faucet hole, allowing for either deck-mounted or wall-mounted mixer taps.‎ The column-mounted freestanding version of “Iride” is instead a monolith with a base handcrafted from curved wood, lacquered in various colors.‎ It is equipped with three hidden shelves inside the totem structure, which seamlessly supports the basin above.‎ “Iride’s” modular architecture allows for numerous configurations, thanks also to 9 different ceramic colors in the Colors 1250° finish, and various metal frame and storage unit finishes.‎ Ceramic washbasin colors: Colors 1250° Wooden drawer unit finishes/variants: Matte White, Matte Black, Matte White + Natural Oak
