Benisouk WACHM – MARK Hand-knotted shag rug

WACHM – MARK is a hand-knotted, deep-pile rug made in Benisouk.‎ A high-pile rug in natural wool with fine, tattoo-like markings knotted into the field, hand-knotted at our atelier in the Middle Atlas.‎ The marks are small and dispersed, closer to symbol than to ornament, sitting low in the pile.‎ The pile is dense and soft.‎ No added dye.‎ The markings are worked in a slightly deeper natural tone, drawn from the same undyed wool.‎ The pile compresses and recovers its volume with use.‎ Available with a backing suited to hard floors.‎ Further info from manufacturer on WACHM – MARK Benisouk
