TERMOBETON 1400

Lightweight concrete with structural expanded clay of adjustable density: - for subgrade or for roof loft before tha application of the membrane barrier (TERMOBETON 800); - for construction of structural elements (pillars, beams and slabs) of r.‎c.‎ structures (TERMOBETON 1800) Termobeton 1400 improves the lightness aspect without affecting the elasto-mechanical properties, which remain comparable to those of a traditional concrete used for other works.‎ Thanks to its properties, Termobeton 1400 can be used to advantage either alone or in combination with base layers in Isolbeton to provide a screed for ceramic floor finishes.‎ The excellent compressive/tensile strength, in fact, allows Termobeton 1400 to be used as a screed laid directly on the floor slab or separated by a polythene sheet.‎ The combined use of Isolbeton and Termobeton 1400 produces thermal resistances comparable with those obtainable using panels of synthetic material but far greater than those obtainable using an ordinary cement mortar.‎ Further info from manufacturer on TERMOBETON 1400 Betonrossi
