BROKISGLASS MOSAIC is not just a product inspired by nature.‎ The sophisticated morphology makes full use of the material without any waste, thus giving rise to an efficient process of sustainable manufacturing.‎ Every millimetre of the mosaic is the refined result of precision craftsmanship, instilling each piece with a genuine originality.‎ In the realm of bees, as in nature also, hexagons come together in a singular blossom of life.‎ So too our mosaic, with its hexagonal shape, evokes a subtle power and harmony, the individual pieces coming together in a unique artistic work.‎ Inspiration for the name Hive was taken from the hexagon, such as the one found in beehives.‎ This mosaic lends a touch of nature to our homes and reminds us of the strength and beauty of natural shapes.‎  TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS: MATERIAL Upcycled glass from primary production of high-quality glass in Czechia with a tradition dating to 1809.‎ No added ingredients.‎ 100% safe, recyclable.‎ COLORS Triplex Opal BROKISGLASS (white) Smoke Grey BROKISGLASS Smoke Brown BROKISGLASS Other options are subject to custom order.‎ FACE FINISH The mosaics are manufactured with а gloss finish for easy maintenance/washability.‎ EDGE FINISH Edges are polished, leaving а slightly rounded appearance together with а smooth finish on the edges and face of the mosaic.‎ THICKNESS The resulting thickness of the mosaics is approximately 7 mm.‎  However, occasionally the manufacturing process may result in а slight variance (max.‎ 1 mm) in individual segments.‎ GROUT JOINT WIDTH Tiles аге spaced with а 2 mm grout joint between the individual segments.‎ Further info from manufacturer on M.4.
