NOEMI conveys a sense of softness at first glance. Its continuous, rounded lines inspire an immediate and natural feeling of comfort, like an invitation to let go. Modular and versatile, it is composed of elements that interact harmoniously with one another, allowing for linear or more complex configurations. The removable fabric or leather upholstery enhances the simplicity of the forms, giving the collection an informal yet elegant aesthetic.
The sofa is associated with the concept of pleasantness and gentleness. It is also the name of the young woman who helped design it and who translates this mood into form. With NOEMI, the goal was to find the opposite of the prevailing lightness: a sofa with an authentic presence that occupies space in a meaningful way.
The name says it all: its biblical root means “pleasant” and “gentle.” A sort of timeless retro-avant-garde: looking to the past to reclaim what is solid - classic proportions, the boldness of the 1970s, Scandinavian honesty - and reinterpreting it with a contemporary, engaged urban sensibility.
That’s why NOEMI is rounded, sculptural, and free of hierarchies. It appears heavy, but its weight serves as an anchor; in the city, it acts as a refuge. Its comfort is holistic - even emotional. A sofa that welcomes without judgment, that adapts. Something that endures, that accompanies.
