Cantori CONCETTO Rectangular bedside table with drawers

The Concetto bedsida table, part of the Borgonovo+Valsecchi, night system, embodies a striking dialogue between art and design.‎ Crafted in wood with drawer covered in metal, it stands out for its unique cuts across the drawer fronts, inspired by Fontana’s iconic incisions.‎ These are not merely decorative details, but integrated handles with a strong expressive character.‎ This sophisticated play of voids and solids opens up a new dimension where functionality becomes an artistic gesture.‎ The cuts, evocative of Fontana’s poetics, rhythmically mark the surface, inviting both touch and gaze, offering a dynamic reading of space and material.‎ Metal, chosen as the core material, enhances the modern appeal of the piece, while forming a stimulating contrast with the tradition of abstract art – a harmonious and intelligent interplay.‎Borgonovo+Valsecchi design approach is revealed here through a philosophy rooted in experimentation and innovation.‎ The transformation of cuts into handles emphasises the idea that every opening and closing becomes a sensory experience, where the boundary between form and function gradually dissolves.‎ Further info from manufacturer on CONCETTO Cantori
