MEX HI OUTDOOR is a low iroko garden side table.‎ Materials Tubular AISI 304 stainless steel base outdoor powder-coated in taupe, ivory, green, terracotta; Low table top in solid natural Iroko wood slats or ivory glazed porcelain stoneware, Low table mattress in polyurethane covered with recycled PET fibre wadding coupled with water-repellent canvas.‎ The ample forms and essential lines of Mex-Hi, the modular sofa system designed by Piero Lissoni, blend with new materials and finishes in a new collection studied specifically for outdoor use.‎ Thanks to three different sized bases that can be combined to create versatile and dynamic compositions.‎ The system is enriched with a larger three-seater sofa that can be used as an independent element, together with a cosy daybed to laze around and sunbathe by the pool.‎ A solid Iroko wood top can be added onto the frame’s base to form a functional integrated coffee table, creating a harmonious interplay of textures.‎ This wood essence immediately gives the system a warmer feel for a welcoming and relaxing ambience.‎ To complete the Mex-Hi Outdoor system, three free-standing side tables, with the same metal frame, are also available with a solid Iroko wood slatted top or in ivory glazed porcelain stoneware.‎ It is also possible to place a mattress on top of each table to transform it into a comfortable seat, further emphasising its functionality.‎ The cosy padded seat of the Mex-Hi Outdoor, made of recycled PET fibre wadding and polyurethane with a percentage of polyols derived from biological sources, is protected by a water-repellent canvas to prevent water from permeating inside.‎ The upholstery’s new textured weaves wrap around the system’s shapes while a selection of evocative colours recall Mediterranean landscapes.‎ Made for outdoor use, the sophisticated metal structure that holds the soft upholstered elements is presented in four new shades: taupe, ivory, green and terracotta.‎ The cushions have also been usefully developed to be easily removed from the structure for maintenance or washing.‎ Further info from manufacturer on MEX-HI OUTDOOR Cassina
