In most cases, a wooden roof insulated with light insulation, even though it complies with the legal limits for summer thermal insulation, Yie ≤ 0.20 W/m2K, is classified in class V in the energy performance certificate, i.e. it provides poor insulation that does not allow for adequate phase shifting and attenuation of the thermal wave. In addition, the legal limits for façade acoustic insulation are not met. To improve this performance, in the following roofing solutions, the lightweight insulation is combined with a 75 mm thick CELENIT N panel to improve living comfort conditions.
