Creazione SUGO STICK INSECT LED steel pendant lamp

Stick Insect is an adjustable LED pendant lamp made of steel.‎ The Stick Insect Lamp represents a significant departure from conventional lighting design, seamlessly blending sculptural aesthetics with functionality to create an object that transcends traditional categorizations in illumination.‎ Inspired by the founder family's admiration for insects and their mystical behaviour in nature, as well as their crucial role in sustaining the environment, this unique lighting concept is born from a thoughtful gift of five stick insects from the design partner and good friend, Mr.‎ Andrea Cingoli.‎ In conceptualizing this design, our goal was to maintain a simple yet functional lighting element.‎ Unlike typical lighting designs that primarily focus on the X and Y axes, the Stick Insect Lamp introduces a third dimension - the Z axis - enabling lateral placement of the lighting.‎ The lamp can be mounted horizontally as a freestanding floor lamp, suspended from the ceiling like a pendant chandelier, or placed flat on the floor, complementing sitting systems such as sofas or chairs.‎ The core of the Stick Insect Lamp comprises three handcrafted artisan blown Murano Glass tubes, each unique in shape and geometry.‎ The insect's stabilization structure features steel laser-cut legs that can rotate 180°, facilitating versatile mounting on different surfaces and geometries.‎ The addition of insectoid legs transforms the Stick Insect Lamp into a lighting fixture that transcends traditional functional shapes, resembling an animal or insect that subtly integrates into interior spaces.‎ Mounting the lamps in different axes - X, Y, or Z - alters the entire aesthetic of the interior space, making the Stick Insect Lamp the focal point of interior design rather than a mere complement to illuminate the space.‎ With the Stick Insect Lamp, the aim is to infuse a sense of mystique and character into any combination of geometric formations within interior or architectural designs.‎ Produced by MULTIFORME for CREAZIONE SUGO.‎ Further info from manufacturer on STICK INSECT Creazione SUGO
