Dorica is a stainless steel and wood highboard with doors.‎ The classic fluting of a Doric column becomes the starting point for Dorica, a collection of storage furniture which reinterprets the elegance of classical Greek architecture by transforming it in a contemporary key.‎ The silhouettes of the cabinet, sideboard and side table are marked by concave slats which, meeting at sharp edges, give vertical architectural rhythm to the surface.‎ The new DeFauvé stainless steel finish amplifies this visual interplay: a surprising colour gradient starts at the polished steel base and increases in intensity until it reaches a deep shade of red at the top, obtained via oxidation.‎ The surface vibrates in the light, highlighting the three-dimensionality of the slats and creating iridescent reflections which transform each piece into a sculptural presence.‎ On the inside, Dorica reveals shiny burgundy lacquer, a refined detail which completes the textural experience of the collection.‎ Further info from manufacturer on DORICA DE CASTELLI
