Duomo Design PLANE Sommier

Plane Sommier, a minimal but elegant bed with clean, understated lines.‎ The desire for freedom inspired the idea of a lightweight, sturdy bed base which could stand alone and be raised off the ground.‎ The transparent plexiglass feet increase the feeling of lightness and floating.‎ Plane Sommier can be transformed by adding a headboard.‎ Frame: Fully detachable, aluminium base with powder-coated, silver-colour finish.‎ Orthopaedic base in pantographed birch multi-plywood to allow ventilation, 16 mm thick with a natural finish.‎ Feet: plexiglass.‎ Plane and Plane Long is a dynamic, elegant, youthful and minimal project.‎ The headboard comes in different heights and lengths, it can easily change its “outfit” through two fabric textures and two colours for a reversible look.‎ The raised “floating” bed base has statement transparent plexiglass feet, invoking a sense of lightness; it also comes in a stand-alone version: Plane Sommier.‎ Further info from manufacturer on PLANE Duomo Design
