THAR SUNLIGHT is an hand tufted all art silk rug.‎ The Inspiration Collection plays with references to present models out of time and out of fashion.‎ Each rug becomes the material of an imaginary travel.‎ A table of creation that blends classic elegance and contemporary inspiration.‎ Hand made technique with a specific knot of the Himalayan highlands.‎ The design is painted on a paper underneath the string, and the weaver work following the drawing.‎ This traditional process ensures durability and exceptional beauty to the mat.‎ Custom-made orders are at the core of Edition Bougainville's know-how.‎ Each rug can be custom made, size of the rug, surrounding design, positioning of the medallion, shades, manufacturing techniques; everything will then be completed according to the specificities of your design project.‎ Further info from manufacturer on THAR SUNLIGHT Edition Bougainville
