Edra
GRINZA WHITE
Armchair
Grinza White is a special edition of the historic armchair by the Campana Brothers. Each piece should be considered unique; handcrafted in white eco-fur, it is dedicated to Casa Italia Milano Cortina 2026, as attested by a special brass plaque applied to the upholstery. The light, pure material, soft and pleasant to the touch, evokes the fluffiness of snow and translates it into warm, welcoming comfort.
It is a low-back upholstered armchair, made with a tubular steel frame completely covered by padding and finished by applying the upholstery in a deliberately casual way, left generously loose. The draping makes each piece unrepeatable, transforming it into a one-of-a-kind object.
For Edra, craftsmanship is an essential way of working, both the most ancient and the most modern. Through the practice of the artisanal gesture, knowledge is transmitted: work is carried out following technologically advanced projects while at the same time recovering the fine manual practices that have always belonged to the Tuscan tradition. Only hands can interpret, adapt, build and express a quality that machines are unable to achieve. From this fundamental balance between technology and beauty, between reason and immediate wonder, arises one of Edra’s core values: passion, the generator of the highest quality.
This vision is rooted in Tuscany, the heart of Italy that gave the world the masterpieces of the Renaissance. For Edra, fabrics and coverings are not simple outer layers or colour choices, but an integral part of the project, both from an engineering and an aesthetic standpoint. Every product in the Collection is accompanied by a specific study of its ideal upholstery, conceived and developed exclusively to enhance its tactile and technological characteristics.
