Edra STANDWAY Sofa

Soft elegant, universal sofa.‎ Classic and contemporary at the same time.‎ Timeless.‎ With the “smart cushion”: everyone can use it their own way, in form and purpose.‎ Because it is completely adaptable to the desires of the user.‎ Sitting comfortably, with a simple, light pressure, the backrests and armrests can be moulded as desired.‎ The name Standway suggests further steps on the pathway started with Standard and continued then with Standalto.‎ “If I had to give a definition, I’d say that Standway is the sofa.‎ I have always worked on the archetype.‎ Standway is the essence of the image of the sofa.‎ It is an ideal.‎ Description is no use.‎ Any explanation is too much.‎ It wins only if it is liked.‎ And it is liked because it is a beautiful sofa.‎ I have always worked on beauty, which remains one of the most elusive mysteries.‎ And so, every time I look for a different language to capture it.‎” Francesco Binfaré Standway is covered with an ideal fabric: substantial, solid, soft, designed to elegantly and gracefully fit two- or three-seater sofas as well as larger combinations, linear or curved.‎ Standway has round feet.‎ Feet that don’t belong to the sofa.‎ Which does not rest on anything, but seems suspended.‎ Feet that don’t belong to the floor.‎ They represent a kind of limbo.‎ With its elegant presence, Standway adapts to various linear or open solutions: two- or three-seater sofas or a large chaise longue armchair.‎ Different depths of seating offer different levels of comfort.‎ The large mouldable smart cushions and the seating with Gellyfoam® and feather fillings allow an unbeatable level of comfort.‎ Further info from manufacturer on STANDWAY Edra
