Trav3rse Life brings together three different interpretations of natural stone, reflected in the very name of the collection: Vein, directional travertine; Cross, cross-cut travertine; Clast, an aggregate stone inspired by the world of breccia-like stone formations.‎ The project continues Florim’s research into travertine, introducing a new interpretation of its directional veining.‎ Its architectural character and natural directionality are preserved through a softer, more contemporary design, easily adaptable to different project contexts.‎ Vein, Cross and Clast interact through colours, veining and material details.‎ From the linear character of directional travertine to the cross-cut effect and the aggregates inspired by Ceppo Senese, the three aesthetics create a coordinated system capable of shaping coherent yet never monotonous spaces.‎ In the VEIN surface, the distinctive linear veining becomes broader and softer.‎ The striations retain the verticality and depth of the stone that inspired the design.‎ The palette comprises four shades — Bone Vein, Hay Vein, Bark Vein and Flint Vein — creating a colour range that moves naturally between warmer tones and cooler interpretations of the material.‎ CROSS reinterprets the traditional cross-cut of the stone through a cleaner, more liberated aesthetic.‎ The surface retains the geological memory of the original material.‎ Its shades — Bone Cross, Hay Cross, Bark Cross and Flint Cross — allow this second expression of the collection to engage directly with VEIN, multiplying design possibilities and making it possible to create cohesive spaces through different textures.‎ For CLAST, the inspiration comes from Ceppo Senese, a sedimentary stone characterised by stone aggregates and a harmonious colour palette.‎ Florim offers a carefully controlled interpretation, calibrating the size and distribution of the fragments to create a balanced, clearly defined surface even across large formats.‎ The two shades, Warm White Clast and Warm Grey Clast, are designed to coordinate with the colour families of VEIN and CROSS, making the collection an open system conceived for creative combinations.‎ In the 9 mm thickness, VEIN, CROSS and CLAST are available with a Matte finish in 120x120, 60x120, 60x60 and 30x60 cm formats.‎ All colours are also available with a Grip R11 finish, in 60x120 and 60x60 cm formats.‎ The 20 mm thickness, offered in the 60x120 cm format with a Grip R11 surface, extends the collection to outdoor spaces and settings requiring enhanced technical performance.‎ Completing the system are the 120x280 cm large slabs, in a 6 mm thickness, available with a Matte Leather finish throughout the collection.‎ This solution creates a direct relationship between horizontal and vertical surfaces, enabling interiors to be designed with a unified vision.‎ Alongside the main surfaces, the three-dimensional Wavy décor, in the 60x120 cm format, reinterprets the traditional grooved and undulating finishes of natural stone.‎ The relief introduces a tactile dimension and a dynamic interplay of light and shade: the material is perceived through an alternation of solid forms, shadows and reflections.‎ Wavy is available in Bone Wavy, Hay Wavy, Bark Wavy and Flint Wavy.‎ Further info from manufacturer on TRAV3RSE LIFE Florim Ceramiche
