Flou MALÙ Metal bedside table with drawers

Malù - in Italian an acronym for light in the sea - evokes the image of a shell protecting a pearl.‎ The project stems from this suggestion: a compact volume that opens up into two distinct but united entities, protecting what is intimate and personal.‎ Externally, it appears as a pure and essential metal monovolume.‎ A thin slit marks the separation between the two elements, maintaining a unified and rigorous aesthetic.‎ The mirrore surface reflects the surrounding environment, visually engaging it and amplifying the perception of space.‎ Beneath it, a shelf slides horizontally on two guides, without the aid of complex mechanisms: a design solution that guarantees simplicity, reliability and durability over time.‎ The wide, natural opening from above redefines the everyday gesture of storing items, transforming it into a fluid and unexpected experience.‎ Malù is aimed at those who want an alternative to the traditional bedside table: an object that combines functionality and character, capable of blending in discreetly but making a distinctive presence in the bedroom.‎ A small architectural element that preserves, reflects and conveys a new idea of contemporary intimacy.‎
