Gardeco Objects ICARO Bronze sculpture

Icaro is a limited edition bronze sculpture by Italian artist Raffaella Benetti.‎ For the creation of this piece, Benetti drew inspiration from Icarus, a character in ancient Greek mythology.‎ According to his story, Icarus tried to fly to the sun with wings of wax.‎ Blinded by hubris, he ignored the fact that his wings would melt before reaching the sun.‎ The artwork Icaro consists of a bronze figurine accompanied by two delicate wings lying behind it.‎ The definition of luxury is always in flux.‎ Different eras in history and different cultures have always valued the bronze material above all else.‎ Bronze sculptures are not just beautiful but tell a wider story of craftmanship and authenticity.‎
