Ypsilon is a pendant lamp with a metal structure.
An essential sign that multiplies in space.
Ypsilon originates from a simple module, a linear element that opens into a fork and becomes structure, rhythm, composition. Repeated, the module generates ever-changing configurations: light architectural forms that expand across walls or float within the space.
The design is continuous, fluid, almost natural - like a line that grows and branches out. The joints become nodes, points of energy and connection, while the light follows the form, enhancing its geometry.
Ypsilon is an open system: modular, flexible, capable of adapting to space and transforming it. From a single element to a complex installation, each composition is unique - a balance between rigor and freedom, structure and lightness.
The load-bearing structure is expertly cast in metal, an expression of the long-standing manufacturing mastery of Ghidini 1961.
The soft, sinuous metal lines blend seamlessly with the light-emitting terminals. These are crafted from refined fluted glass, allowing the light to diffuse gently into the surrounding environment.
