The first lamps designed for Icone by Giulio Cappellini, together with Leonardo Talarico. Icone lighting is designed for a changing world. Lamps that change shape and finish to adapt to hybrid contexts, as contemporary lifestyles demand. The Lama lamp collection responds to this need. It is a collection of table, floor and ceiling lamps in different finishes. Lama is characterised by a pure, geometric design obtained by the intersection of two cones. The material with which it is made is a very thin metal sheet that gives great plasticity to the object. The upper closure is instead in plastic material. Various finishes are available: from matt varnishes in basic or bright colours to the metallic finishes typical of the Icone brand. The simplicity of the shapes and the variety of finishes offered make Lama suitable for various types of environments, both domestic and hospitality. A new version of Lama presents the object with a metal base and the upper element entirely in glass.
