The WPB Membrane (waterproofing butyl membrane) is a highly adhesive butyl waterproofing membrane selfprotected by a two-coloured cross-laminated HDPE film that gives the membrane excellent thermal and mechanical characteristics.‎ The cross-laminated HDPE film lends to the product good characteristics of dimensional stability, ensuring a uniform behaviour to stresses of elongation in the longitudinal and transverse direction, as well as an excellent resistance to tearing and puncture.‎ The exposed side of the HDPE film is white and the internal side is black.‎ The exterior white layer contains UV stabilizer and allows a reduction of the temperature of the surface of the membrane up to 25%, increasing the adhesion performances in the construction site.‎ This membrane is characterized by a wide application temperatures range and it has been designed and formulated for high ambient temperatures as for cold climates.‎ This membrane has been designed and developed for the specific waterproofing of vertical walls, foundations, basements, flat and ventilated roofs.‎ The butyl compound is characterized by an environmental low impact, it has a low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and having no bitumen in, it has no petroleum derivatives and no aromatic compounds in its composition.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ELOTENE WPB ISOLTEMA GROUP
