IVAR - MULTI PRESS
Press fittings M•P / P•M•P
MULTI•PRESS / PLASTIC•MULTI•PRESS is an IVAR press fitting studied and tested to be used indifferently with 7 different crimper profiles (BE, B, TH, R, H, F, U).The body of the M•P line is made in CW617N; a version with body in Cuphin (CW724R) is available, that is a lead free copper-silicon alloy, especially recommended in some countries, such as Germany and Austria, for DHW applications. Available in a wide range of configurations and sizes from 16 x 2 to 63 x 4.5.
The body of the P•M•P line is made in PPSU, a high thermal and mechanical resistance plastic thus guaranteeing high level performance without problems linked to corrosion which can occur with metal fittings. The material used complies with different hygienic regulations of international bodies and therefore can be used to carry drinking water.
Available in a wide range of configurations (figures not threaded) and sizes from 16 x 2 to 32 x 3.
The geometry of the fitting designed for ideal coupling between pipe and fitting ensuing pressing, the windows on the bushing holder to verify correct insertion of the pipe and two O-rings in peroxide EPDM on each terminal are all details which help to guarantee the usability and reliability of the product.
Multi-press
MULTIPRESS fittings obtained various homologations according important bodies such as DVGW, CSTB and WRAS. All fittings are homologated ACS (Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire) for installation in drinking water applications. Besides MULTIPRESS brass fittings, IVAR proposes press-fittings with high-performance PPSU technopolymer body (Plastic MULTIPRESS). This material ensures high mechanical and thermal resistance and prevents the occurrence of corrosion, incrustation or water pollution. Plastic press-fitting is available in a wide range of non-threaded figures ("tee", elbow and straight) in sizes 16/2 – 20/2 – 25/2.5 – 26/3 – 32/3, preserving the properties of the correspondent brass fitting.
