Karakter TRIO Freestanding wooden bookcase

TRIO is a shelf system designed by Achille Castiglioni & Giancarlo Pozzi Trio is a practical corner shelf system, designed in collaboration with Giancarlo Pozzi, conceived to make full use of available corner space: a clean and essential multi-purpose wooden unit with three triangular shelves.‎ Now available in Pinot Noir and green stained oak, these new finishes offer a fresh perspective on Castiglioni's timeless design, harmoniously blending historical heritage with contemporary aesthetics.‎ Italian designer Achille Castiglioni had a real passion for re-design, reinvention and reconceptualisation.‎ Traditional interior design objects passed through his Milanese studio to be perfected, and throughout his career he always set himself the goal of enhancing and celebrating design.‎ It is said that Castiglioni often reflected on 'lost space': empty inches and square metres that could have been filled with beautiful design, but for some reason remained unused.‎ It was from this reflection that many of his designs were born, designed specifically for the corners of the home.‎ The TRIO shelf system from 1988 is one of them.‎
