MASAMI
Leather armchair with armrests
MASAMI is a leather armchair with armrests designed by Carlo Colombo for Lema in 2026.
Masami takes shape from the continuous gesture, from the encounter between structure and softness, between rigor and comfort. Its Japanese name evokes a composed elegance, a balance that does not seek excess but is expressed through precision of proportions the harmony of volumes.
Two side panels naturally open naturally, shaping a welcoming and fluid seat – an invitation to relax. The form appears monolithic, solid and precise, yet is lightened by subtle profiles and essential lines that engage in dialogue with the surrounding space, without ever overwhelming it.
The seat follows the body with a continuous and measured gesture, transforming act of sitting into a natural pause. The cushions, integrated into the overall volume, provide deep and long-lasting comfort, preserving both the purity of the design and the integrity of its shape over time.
