LUXSOLAR LXS-PRT-H-G
LXS-PRT-H-G is an octagonal-shaped composition, consisting of 16 ASPSL-LXS heliport beacons and 12 TLOF-LXS-INSET or TLOF-LXS-FLT heliport beacons.
Beacons:
TLOF-LXS-FLT
The TLOF-LXS-FLT, green in colour, is used to define the perimeter of the TLOF (Touchdown and Lift-Off) area, intended to contain the aircraft in its maximum footprint. It may be circular or square or, less commonly, have other shapes. Within the TLOF area, the maximum height of markers and wiring must be less than 25mm and driveable.
Features
Height < 25mm
Resistant up to 5000 kg
Can be integrated into existing surfaces without additional construction work
Fully compliant with international ICAO and EASA regulations
TLOF-LXS-INSET
A TLOF (Touchdown and Lift-Off area) signalling system must be provided for every heliport where night operations are carried out. This system consists of lights emitting a fixed, omnidirectional, green light beam, arranged around the perimeter (which may be circular or square) of the landing/take-off area. The TLOF area can be circular (in this case, a minimum of 14 lights are required), or square (in this case, a minimum of 4 lights are required on each side, including those placed in the corners, and installed at a maximum distance of 3 metres from each other). The development of a TLOF system using the LUXSOLAR LXS-ONE INSET beacon guarantees long life (thanks to the use of LED technology), ease of installation and minimal footprint on the pitch (protrusion of only 12.54 mm).
