Magis ANCORA Rectangular cement table

Ancora is a rectangular table with a concrete base.‎ The inspiration comes from the Italian tradition and mixes the art of building by Pier Luigi Nervi with the sensual design of Angelo Mangiarotti; the style is the same as always, essential and sculptural, typical of Ronan Bouroullec.‎ Ancora “is a project of tables, more precisely of concrete architecture” says the French designer “that seeks to achieve strength through delicacy, supporting the top of a table with the accuracy of the design and the precision of the ribs”.‎ A challenge, like those that we have always faced together with Ronan Bouroullec and that contain the distinctive trait of both.‎ Strength and lightness, sculptural volumes and essential design.‎ Ancora “explores the raw sensuality of concrete in search of a minimal use of the material and a design accuracy to produce strength”.‎ An intrinsic strength that explodes in the sinuous aesthetics of the structure and draws Palladian perspectives in space, with decisive simplicity.‎ The collection, indoor and outdoor, is composed of a rectangular table (220x90 cm) and a round one (with a diameter of 130 cm) with a concrete base and a top in different materials, to which are added two monomaterial concrete tables.‎ Contemporary, almost austere, yet impeccable, because it contains in the details the light elegance of classic canons.‎ With the right measure, for a timeless beauty.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ANCORA Magis
