CHET-B is a pendant lamp with direct and diffused light: the direct light comes from the central cone, facing downward, while the diffuse and indirect light reflects towards the ceiling. The two integrated LED light sources are activated simultaneously when turned on.
Martinelli Luce presents the suspension version of the Chet-B lamp, which joins the ceiling and the wall versions that have already become a classic in the brand's catalogue. Thanks to the painted metal conical trumpet that acts as a reflector for the integrated LED light source, Chet-B combines functionality and aesthetics to create a relaxing atmosphere. The light emission is twofold: direct, using a conical reflector and a glass lens, and simultaneously diffused through the opaline glass diffuser. The lamp therefore creates, on one hand, a soft lighting effect, and on the other, a sharper and more defined one. The inspiration for the product came from the shared passion of designer Francesco Lucchese and Marco Ghilarducci, CEO of Martinelli Luce, for jazz, and especially for the famous trumpeter Chet Baker. This is reflected not only in the name, Chet-B, but also in the design of the lamp, whose shape evokes the cone of a trumpet, and in the light it emits, which recalls the atmosphere of jazz clubs.
Structure in painted metal and glass.
