DOUBLE MOON is a LED wall lamp in metal and glass Support material: aluminum Support color: black Luminous flux: 950 lm Color temperature: 3000 K Voltage: 220–240 V Power consumption: 8 W Protection rating: IP20 This design was inspired by astonishing astronomical phenomena that reveal the infinite horizons of the universe.‎ One such rare event occurred in 2024, known as the “Double Moon” phenomenon.‎ A gravitational capture happens when, in addition to Earth’s permanent satellite, the Moon, a temporary satellite also appears.‎ This phenomenon occurs due to complex interactions between gravitational forces that trap celestial bodies within planetary orbits.‎ The Double Moon has become a symbol of the delicate balance between chaos and order in the cosmos.‎ It reminds us that even in stable systems, unexpected changes can occur, opening new frontiers for exploration and inspiration.‎ The collection draws inspiration from this rare astronomical event.‎ Various technologies were used to create a lamp with a mysterious and fascinating effect.‎ For example, the lights are hidden in the base on both sides and covered with opaque diffusers to produce soft illumination.‎ The glass spheres are painted with a mirrored color gradient that reflects the light and creates incredible patterns on the walls, while soft reflections appear on the glass itself.‎ The lamp consists of a metal base housing two LED boards, one on top and one below.‎ These are covered with an opaque diffuser that produces a gentle and comfortable light.‎ The illumination is then reflected by the mirrored gradient on the glass spheres, resulting in spectacular wall lighting.‎ The luminous flux of the lamps is quite substantial for a wall fixture, making them suitable for a wide variety of interior applications.‎ The models are available in three colors: dark nickel, brass, and black.‎ They can be installed both vertically and horizontally, offering versatile possibilities within a space.‎ The collection features a concise form and versatile design, making it adaptable to different interior styles.‎ Thanks to its significant luminous flux, the lamps can be used beside the bed, at a desk, or as additional lighting.‎ This collection has been awarded two prestigious design prizes: Red Dot and A’ Design Award.‎
