The Pavé collection originates from the design evolution and material reinterpretation of the Psaico modular system, an iconic project by the designer, capable of combining rigor with apparent randomness.‎ Geometric shapes inspired by Opus Incertum, where arrangement and surface create a “structured randomness,” give rise to a terrazzo reinterpreted in a contemporary way.‎ In its transition to the textile dimension, the tessera enlarges, develops vertically, and changes material, transforming into a living surface.‎ The modular logic remains, yet becomes softer: small archipelagos of geometric forms thus generate large material islands, hand-knotted one by one.‎ Origin: India Composition: Wool, Tencel Thickness: ≈ 1.‎2 cm Technique: Hand-knotted Further info from manufacturer on ISLAND SAGE Mohebban
