The Pavé collection originates from the design evolution and material reinterpretation of the Psaico modular system, an iconic project by the designer, capable of combining rigor with apparent randomness. Geometric shapes inspired by Opus Incertum, where arrangement and surface create a “structured randomness,” give rise to a terrazzo reinterpreted in a contemporary way.
In its transition to the textile dimension, the tessera enlarges, develops vertically, and changes material, transforming into a living surface. The modular logic remains, yet becomes softer: small archipelagos of geometric forms thus generate large material islands, hand-knotted one by one.
