Plain-coloured backgrounds are available in four earth-inspired shades – Chalk, Clay and Mud – and in two finishes: gloss and matt.‎ Faces & Figures is born from the encounter between the body and clay.‎ It is from this primordial relationship—in which clay receives the gesture, preserves its memory and returns the trace of contact—that the first collaboration between Faye Toogood and Mutina takes shape: a collection that transforms the language of sculpture into an architectural system, capable of bringing a silent and deeply human presence into space.‎ The project stems from a material and instinctive process: dozens of models and edges worked entirely by hand, cardboard studies, clay maquettes and continuous experiments on the human figure are progressively reduced to fluid and essential forms.‎ No longer figurative elements, but archetypes: modules capable of repeating, combining and building surfaces, walls and volumes.‎ From this research emerges a project developed through complementary systems, each dedicated to exploring a different dialogue between the human figure and architecture.‎ Further info from manufacturer on PLAIN TILES CHALK MATT Mutina
