Opinion Ciatti YUM Pouf with removable lining

Yum is an upholstered pouf with differentiated load-bearing foam and removable cover in fabric or leather, equipped with a practical pocket.‎ For indoor/outdoor use.‎ Upholstery: various types of fabric and leather.‎ Customer’s own material.‎ Notes: outdoor use only with specific waterproof fabrics.‎ A simple gesture.‎ An act of subtraction.‎ This is how Yum comes to life, a natural evolution of the Yum Yum collection: a backless version of the distinctive armchairs that distills their essence and expands their range of use.‎ If Yum Yum was a balance of opposites – softness and structure, informality and rigor – Yum works through synthesis.‎ It removes the backrest, leaving room for a presence that is even freer, more open and versatile.‎ The seat thus takes on a central role, tasked with ensuring the quality of the experience.‎ In this sense, the differentiated-density foam padding plays a crucial role: working in depth to balance softness and support, it ensures long-lasting, stable comfort.‎ The new collection of poufs by Lapo Ciatti retains the welcoming character of the original collection – soft shapes, a generous seat, and the side pocket as a functional detail – translating it into an essential and flexible object.‎ A free-standing element, capable of naturally adapting to different uses and contexts.‎ Whether as an informal seat or a module for sharing, YUM integrates into the space without imposing hierarchies, allowing the environment to suggest its use each time.‎ In line with Opinion Ciatti’s ongoing direction, YUM is conceived to move beyond the traditional distinction between indoor and outdoor, becoming a piece that flows seamlessly across spaces.‎ Reinforcing this versatility is the introduction of new outdoor fabrics: materials designed to withstand external conditions which, thanks to a waterproof inner lining, make YUM suitable for outdoor use without compromising usability or aesthetics.‎ Available in three sizes – single pouf, extra-large pouf and two-seater – it adapts to a variety of contexts, from residential settings to contract spaces, as well as outdoor environments.‎ A project that, starting from an act of subtraction, opens up new possibilities.‎ Because sometimes, by taking something away, we make room for greater freedom.‎ Further info from manufacturer on YUM Opinion Ciatti
