Plank SOL Ash easy chair with armrests

Sol is a lounge armchair with a solid ash wood frame.‎ The seat and backrest are made of curved plywood veneered in ash, available in natural, black-stained, brown-stained, ocean blue, or fire red lacquered finishes.‎ The curved plywood seat and backrest are designed to interlock, allowing the backrest to flex freely.‎ Like sun and shadow, SOL and SOMBRA were consciously designed as a pair Two chairs that share a common base yet express distinct identities.‎ Rather than blending different qualities into one, they are deliberately kept separate: SOL is compact and agile, while SOMBRA is wider.‎ Both chairs are made of solid ash wood, a material that ensures durability and evokes historical references.‎ The vertically arranged legs and strictly horizontal armrests create a sense of space around the seated person, offering a calm and open presence.‎ Details such as slightly tapered feet and hollowed-out armrests highlight the refined craftsmanship of both models.‎ SOL has a compact presence and a low, comfortable, and agile sitting posture.‎ The curved plywood seat and backrest are designed to interlock, allowing the backrest to flex freely.‎ SOMBRA, on the other hand, is wider, softer, and more classical in design.‎ It features a padded seat and a loose back cushion, with wide armrests that provide a convenient surface for a phone, book, or beverage.‎ Available in natural ash or colored finishes, with upholstery in soft wool or leather, SOL and SOMBRA complement each other: two different chairs, yet deeply connected.‎
