ROOFTILE™ is a modular heat-insulating floor tile consisting of a single-layer extruded polystyrene foam XPS sheet - with Carbon Pure additive, smooth surface skin and 4-sided tongue and groove finish - and a surface cement layer.‎ ROOFTILE™ is a modular composite thermal insulation tile for insulating terraces and flat roofs that combines the RAVATHERM™ XPS X 300 panel (ʎD 0.‎030 W/mK), with Carbon Pure particle additive, with the surface cement that attenuates the thermal wave and protects the waterproofing.‎ The BROOF (t2) classification certifies the highest level of performance for fire safety.‎ ROOFTILE™ passed the tests with the maximum extension of the product's range of application on different application planes guaranteeing safety with respect to the fire behaviour of roofs and roof coverings exposed to an external fire.‎ ROOFTILE™ has a solar reflectance index SRI, calculated according to ASTM E1980 - 11(2019), of 84.‎ ROOFTILE™ reduces thermal bridges, also thanks to its tongue-and-groove interlocking, and contributes to the thermal lag of the roof.‎  Thermal conductivity λ of extruded polystyrene RAVATHERM™ XPS X: 0.‎030 W/mK Thermal conductivity λ of cement mortar: 1.‎2 Kcal/mh°C Compressive strength RAVATHERM™ XPS X: 300 X kPa Tensile bond strength (XPS - cement mortar): 250 kPa Compressive strength of cement mortar (at 28 days): 2000 kPa Mortar abrasion: 3 mm USES: Terraces and flat roofs requiring a light insulating covering and occasional walkability.‎  Compatible with the installation of solar and photovoltaic systems.‎ Possibility to easily remove and reuse the thermal insulation tiles in case of extension or maintenance.‎  The small size of ROOFTILE™ facilitates handling and reduces waste.‎
