Sectors of use
REDI sewer manholes are part of the special pieces for underground pipes for the conveyance of: n Civil and industrial waste water discharges (white, black and mixed water). n Industrial, agricultural and general waste water discharges within the limits of the chemical resistance of the materials.
What are sewer manholes used for?
Sewer manholes represent access and connection points in the sewer network in order to carry out inspections and cleaning. The manhole base is designed to ensure hydraulic continuity, it has a semi-circular cross-section equal to the diameter of the pipe it engages, so as not to create flow interruptions, it guarantees self-cleaning characteristics, avoids the deposit of debris, and favours flow in the event of low flow. The sump allows connection to the road surface by means of a Ø400 PVC/PP extension connected to the sump base by means of a lip seal. The road crowning element, has the possibility of being adjusted to the desired micro-metric height, thanks to the telescopic coupling system. The cover must comply with the required carriageway conditions and local regulations.
Why choose a REDI manhole cover?
Because compared to traditional methods with concrete manholes, the REDI sewer manhole saves time (quick to install), saves personnel (one person is enough) and machines during installation. Next we have compared the installation and performance of a REDI sewer manhole and the traditional method
