Riwega

FDB Profile is a guide profile for plaster.‎ Internal and external use, to join the window to both the plaster and the insulation.‎ Self-adhesive, equipped with expansive tape and available in variants with plastering mesh.‎ A critical point in the air and wind tightness of the building envelope is the window joint.‎ Careful attention must be paid to the window connections: filling the joint between the window and the masonry with foam and plaster is not sufficient to create air and wind tightness, as not all building foams can create an airtight layer.‎ Riwega's window and door solutions: FDB tapes (from the German Fenster Dicht Band - Window Sealing Tape) were created precisely to create the air and windtight connection between masonry and subframe, or in the absence of a subframe, between masonry and window easily and quickly.‎ Further info from manufacturer on FDB Profile Riwega
