S-CAB REIL TUBES Stackable metal garden chair

REIL TUBES is a stackable metal garden chair designed by Keiji Takeuchi for S-CAB.‎ Reil reinterprets the classic aluminium chair, elevating its expressive and technological qualities such as strength, lightness, and versatility for outdoor use.‎ Inspired by a sun-drenched image of the Mediterranean as an exceptional natural setting, the seat reflects a vocation for outdoor relaxation, evoking the warmth of convivial moments and all the synaesthetic sensations that the Mare nostrum can conjure.‎ The care taken in the design, revealed in the details, preserves the simplicity of the classic aluminium chair while discreetly enhancing its presence.‎ Available in three versions — in pressed sheet metal, with extruded aluminium tubes, or with a woven strap seat — it comes with or without armrests.‎ Thanks to another inherent quality of aluminium, Reil is fully recyclable, helping to reduce its environmental impact.‎
