Nagi is a marble surface distinguished by delicate ripples. Its texture evokes the wave-like pattern created when a stone breaks the stillness of water: gradually, the pattern transitions from dense to more open, reflecting the natural movement of water and capturing its rhythm. In Japanese, the word Nagi (凪) refers to the calm state of the sea, a meaning that conveys serenity and tranquility.
Nagi takes shape as a rectangular tile, measuring 586x292 mm, featuring a wave-like pattern that is denser on one side and gradually softens and elongates. The surface can be installed both horizontally and vertically: the short sides of the tile start and end at the same height, allowing for various layout possibilities. The result is a play of sinuous three-dimensionality, a spontaneous and dynamic pattern that reflects light differently throughout the day.
Nagi is available in Salvatori’s signature stones: Bianco Carrara, Crema d'Orcia Select, Pietra d'Avola, Silk Georgette®, Verde Antico, Verde Guatemala, and Placido Paradiso.
