This double espresso cup combines functionality with fantasy.‎ Part of Annebet Philips' Carte Blanche series, it captures the essence of a first prototype in tactile porcelain.‎ Many of our designs are hand-finished, this can lead to irregularities and is considered part of the uniqueness of each piece.‎ Dishwasher safe, microwave safe, food safe.‎ Not oven safe, not salamander safe.‎ Dutch designer Annebet Philips makes her Serax debut with Carte Blanche, a remarkable coffee and tea set.‎ She translated classic cups and saucers into simple, almost childlike shapes, first cut from cardboard.‎ These playful prototypes were then literally transformed into porcelain, while keeping their fold lines and uneven edges.‎ Hand-painted, irregular lines further accentuate the spontaneity of the designs.‎ The result is a uniquely playful collection that captures the magic of the very first idea.‎ The set includes espresso cups, a cappuccino cup, a tea mug with saucers, a milk jug, and a teapot.‎
