Smarin LIVINGSTONES ARDA PEBBLE SYSTEM - GILDA Wool sofa

Livingstones Arda Pebble System is a set of large organic shaped poufs and they were designed to destabilize the interiors and the preconceived conventions of life.‎ Their strength is built on the permanence of archetypes of nature and the representations that can arise in visions from our subconscious.‎ The Livingstones symbolize stillness and slowness at work, becoming landscapes, whether domestic or public.‎ The palette of shapes and densities of these cushions allows the creation of an infinite number of different installations.‎ Their scale and combination possibilities are the result of smarin’s research into health, ergonomics and informal postures, with a particular emphasis on the deconstruction of hierarchical spaces.‎ In this sense, they are a reference point for design practices that focus on deconstructing the norms and conventions of living spaces.‎ The new limited collection Livingstones Arda pebble system is produced in the workshops in Nice.‎ Further info from manufacturer on LIVINGSTONES ARDA PEBBLE SYSTEM - GILDA Smarin
