Ceramic ferrule arc welding is a reliable and durable welding method. It is used in beam bending, heavy carpentry and industrial insulation. This method consists of striking an electric arc, with predefined amperage and time, between a stud and the base material, thereby achieving a high-penetration weld. A ceramic ferrule serves to contain the molten material, slow down its cooling and protect the operator from weld spatter.
