PCR1A: Reclining Parapet to be fixed to the wall or wall.‎ MODULAR PARAPET IN CLASS A (for roofs with a slope of up to 10° or 18%) A comfortable, lightweight and rust-proof parapet can be achieved with quick assembly.‎ Fixing to the roof is the responsibility of the customer (assembly by SVELT on request).‎ Each module is fitted with joints to create continuity along the entire roof.‎ Parapets can also be fitted with curves.‎ Parapetti systems must only guarantee resistance to static loads; the basic requirements are: to support a person leaning on the guardrail and provide support when they walk on their side to stop a person walking or falling towards the protection.‎ Parapets without a foot stop can be purchased if the same function is performed by a fixed structure at the point of installation (e.‎g.‎ a low wall with a minimum height of 150 mm).‎ TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Parapetti height 1100 mm aluminium pillars with centre distance up to 1500 mm handrail diameter 32 mm knee guardrail diameter 32 mm foot stop 175 mm high pre-drilled plates for wall or ground fixing FOLDINGPARAPET Folding parapet with adjustable inclination (in support with ballast).‎ PCR3A comes complete with foot stop and handrail.‎ Ideal for sloping roofs.‎ Takes up little space when transporting even large numbers of items.‎ PHOTOVOLTAIC The PCR3A model is perfect for roofs on which photovoltaic systems are mounted as it always remains closed, preventing shading.‎ The Parapetti is only opened by the operator before maintenance operations and then closed again.‎ (The PC1A model can also be closed again).‎ WELDING SVELT Parapets are ISO 9000 compliant according to UNI EN 287/1 and ENISO 9606/2: welders and welding machines are periodically examined by a recognised laboratory, which issues a certificate of approval for passing the tests of functionality, skill and precision required by the regulations.‎ Our raw material suppliers are ISO9001 certified.‎ Our welds are certified and performed using TIG.‎ TOLLING CERTIFICATES SVELT parapets are accompanied by a certificate in which we declare the conformity of our products with the reference standards and the official testing body, if any.‎ Manuals: Each product is supplied with an assembly, use and maintenance manual.‎ Sign: For each installation, a "Warning and Indication" sign is supplied, which the client must affix near the access to the roof.‎ OPTIONAL PAINTING Parapets are made entirely of aluminium and therefore do not need to be painted.‎ Aluminium is practically eternal and resistant to weathering, unlike iron (even hot-dip galvanised) which needs maintenance over time.‎ For aesthetic reasons we can however paint Parapetti in the RAL colours requested by customers.‎ ITALIANREGULATIONS SVELT parapets are constructed and designed in accordance with the provisions of ITALIAN NORM: Legislative Decree No.‎ 81 of 9/4/2008 (Safety Consolidation Act), Art.‎ 126 "Parapets", Annex IV "Requirements for workplaces" (1.‎4.‎12.‎2 - 1.‎7.‎2 - 1.‎7.‎3), Annex XVIII "Road conditions at construction sites, scaffolding and transport of materials" (2.‎1.‎5).‎ EUROPEAN STANDARDS (optional) Parapets PC1A, PC2A, PC3A (ballasted) have been tested by the POLITECNICO DI MILANO according to UNIEN13374 and UNIEN14122.‎3.‎ Custom-made temporary modular guardrails designed for roofs and machinery to protect edges.‎ They are extremely light and handy and are used to form the required perimeters.‎ Our high quality aluminium guardrails grant collective perfect safety according to standards.‎ Easy to assemble, aesthetically pleasant, statically resistant and rigid.‎ (designed and produced just for protection and safety of men at work).‎ CLASS A MODULAR GUARDRAIL (for roofs with slops up to 10° or 18%).‎ With a quick assembly, you can obtain a comfortable, light and rust-proof guardrail.‎ Fixing to roof is made by the user.‎ Each module is equipped with joints to create a continuity along the whole roof.‎ The guardrail can also be fitted out with bends.‎ Guardrail systems must grant resistance to static loads.‎ The base features are: Carrying a person who leans against the barrier and giving support when he walks sideways; Stopping a person who walks or falls towards the barrier.‎
