1809 stems from the idea that light should not merely illuminate but can itself become volume. The pure geometries of the 1970s are reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility that transforms the lamp into an essential, sculptural presence, defined by a subtle balance between transparency and materiality. Elegant proportions and a timeless aesthetic give rise to an object that is iconic yet discreet, capable of entering spaces naturally and without ever asserting itself, a silent presence defined more by light than by the form that contains it.
With 1809, Tacchini continues its journey into the world of lighting, adopting the same philosophy of living that characterises its vision of furniture. The lamp diffuses a soft, enveloping glow, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere in which light becomes the true protagonist of the space, accompanying everyday life in dialogue with its surroundings, furnishings and the passage of time. The body and the sphere can be illuminated independently or together, allowing the light and atmosphere of the space to be modulated with great flexibility. 1809 is available in table and floor versions, the latter carefully calibrated to sit alongside the upholstered pieces of the Tacchini collections, in a perfectly harmonious interplay of lines and proportions.
