The Onigiri rug collection continues the collaboration with Studiopepe and the dialogue that over time has given rise to increasingly stimulating and articulated material research.‎ At the heart of the project, sharp and essential graphics personalise surfaces with organic forms, transforming the rug into an element that combines function with visual language.‎ The design is not decorative, but part of a broader reflection on the mark, understood as a measured gesture that structures space.‎ The Orient, reinterpreted through a Western sensibility, represents a constant source of inspiration for Studiopepe.‎ The graphic sign that characterises the collection evokes Japan and traces the lines of one of its most iconic foods: onigiri, the traditional triangle of white rice wrapped in a rectangle of nori seaweed.‎ An evocative reference that translates into a refined balance between form, material and culture.‎ Made from pure wool and available in three sizes and four colours, the rugs introduce a soft, enveloping presence into the domestic space – silent yet deeply expressive, capable of infusing the environment with a delicate warmth.‎
