TASSULLO ARMIS CARBON QUAD
ARMIS CARBON QUAD is a high-resistance quadriaxial carbon-fibre fabric, mass 390 g/m2 with mixed 24K/ 24K filaments woven with polyester fibre, for polymer-matrix composite systems impregnated on site. ARMIS CARBON QUAD offers excellent mechanical characteristics and durability.
DESTINATION OF USE:
ARMIS CARBON QUAD is used for the reinforcement of structural elements with polymer-matrix composite systems and, together with the CARBON EPOX epoxy matrix, forms part of the FRP CARBON QUAD system. The system is used for the reinforcement of structural elements in masonry and in reinforced, ordinary and pre-compressed concrete, against static and/or seismic action. In the case of buildings in reinforced concrete, the fabric is particularly suitable for the reinforcing of bidimensional elements such as plates and beam-pillar nodes, and in cases requiring reinforcement with elements that are resistant to tensile stress in multiple directions. The fabric is flexible, and its 24K weave optimises the impregnation of the epoxy resin used as a matrix.
The TASSULLO ARMIS line includes structural mortars, meshes and anchoring systems for the consolidation, restoration and securing of both masonry and concrete structures.
The products are suitable for applications ranging from classical techniques for historical restoration to more modern techniques using fibre-reinforced composite systems. A complete range of systems accompanied by European and Italian certifications that allow their use for structural purposes, in line with the requirements of current regulations.
